Beauty Trend: Purple Rain

This spring violet will bloom on the eyelids. Purple is no longer a symbol of jealousy, but of femininity and seduction. Be brave!

Purple eyeshadow fit perfectly for green eyes, but also to everyone else if they find the right shade. To avoid 'bruises look' make sure you have extremely pigmented shade of excellent fastness.

In the Etro spring collection beautiful purple 'smokey' was carried in the spirit of 70ties. Purple eye shadow was applied all around the eye, and 'nude' lips balanced a strong impression, and the overall effect was airy and very chic.

In Victoria Beckham collection was seen wonderful pastel purple, not subtly applied, but again lips were subtle. Beautiful lighter 'smokey' was worn by Jason Wu, perfectly blended and again combined with the nude lips. Purple eyes were particularly pronounced because the models had tied hair - focus was only on the eyes.

From catwalks purple eye shadow was extended to the red carpet. Katy Perry look great with bright purple eye shadow on the upper eyelid covered with glitter, which is combined with green eye shadow.

Kelly Osbourne matched a softer violet eyeshadow with her dress. Rihanna played with shades that highlight her green eyes - purple is combined with soft pink. Of course, 'look' was spiced up with false eyelashes.

For a flawless look reach for the purple matte eye shadow, and combine it with a peachy blush and nude lips. In this way, it is impossible to go wrong in any way or overdo it. Purple and peach are really in love as we can see on the catwalk.

Bolder will wear purple lips as seen at the Haute Couture shows, and certainly on nails. However, what is certain, purple 'beauty' details are unavoidable this season.
